Care Of A Pet Lobster How Do I Take Care Of My New Pet Hermit Crab?

How do I take care of my new pet hermit crab? - care of a pet lobster

How do I care for my hermit crab?
I have a new hermit crab PetSmart Saturday and I have a small plastic superman one, lol it's only $ 3, and returned with a small and large shell, sand and a plate of food and clean water (with a sponge in it). I bought this food for him and the brand HBH Crab & Lobster Bites. Can someone to me a few tips on how to properly care for my new fascination with these animals?

Be sure to always water for your hermit crab. Have a small bowl of water with a sponge in it? That's what I used to. I cut my apples into slices, grapes, raisins, chips, peanut butter, small pieces of melon and banana. Oh, and pellets of hermit cancer. They eat almost anything. Mine always wait until I will not eat. You need to move a couple of tanks for the cancer. If you bury molt in order to leave him alone, and always ensure there is always food and water. Do not try to expose. It should be dry enough sand to bury themselves, if necessary for molting.

Well, well, sometimes even the silence ... done all the way from the bowl and then moves to a new shell to see if you are still a new cover for it (greater than B4) have
more water (in the spoga!) and foodstuffs.
Rember now risen in all! and it can go very easily if not kept closed everythings.
And plz no image shell ... PPL hate it when I do that!

Oh, and a pinch very hard if they are big! lol

Good luck!

HCA others (see brandi99) I agree with what he was saying Brandi99. One more thing. Give them a bath is something that we discuss. The stress for them. Coat of stress, which is placed in water that has aloe in it. Aloe is harmful to hermit crabs. Their crab theselves bathroom. Make sure fresh water and salt into it.

-__-; I spent 10 minutes writing something only to find your question has been deleted. I'm not a rewriting of the whole is, however, this site has good information and, where I am when I help with my Hermies. I propose to look at all areas of the site (navigation is at the bottom, I think).
http://hermit-crabs.com/

Summary of what he said:
Anyway, my main proposal to obtain a suitable container. have many suggestions on this page, my suggestion is 10 gallons, it's only $ 10 in most pet stores and Walmart, a cover, which have cost about $ 5 or less. The site explains why many small dams are usually sold crabs are not suitable, and why they are the best houses.

Crab feed them plenty of fruits and vegetables, meat and fish are acceptable. try, food, found rich in calcium. dechlorinator water with a fish regularly dechlorinate the water (without additives in order) with the layer of stress help before it's Hermie.

The Bad once a week with the crest of dechlorinated water stress, a kind of fish (declorinator) These contain additives such as aloe vera, are good for them.

Maintain a minimum temperature of 72 ° C (so that the hottest part was at home, but as part of a heating tank is best). keeping the reservoir moist, use a spray if necessary.

To hermitcrabassociation.com
(if it does not work, try. org - I'm not sure) is

Do you want to get a larger pool (usually 3 liters per crab) and deposits definantly more.

More ... Hermit crabs really have courage. Try to moisture (holding reservoir but not too much). This can not by placing a moist (wet) towel on the part of the cover will be achieved
